On 21-22 March in Kramatorsk, UN Development Programme in Ukraine (UNDP), with financial support from the British Embassy in Ukraine, will hold an event, East Expo 2017, for small and medium businesses in Donetsk region.
East Expo 2017 will be a two-day event featuring a range of activities for business owners, as well as representatives of business support agencies, international organizations, and the local and national authorities, aimed at developing entrepreneurship in the region. East Expo 2017 will bring together SME owners and managers from various industries for peer-to-peer networking, a trade show, conferences, and high-level business training. Through panel discussions, presentations and event features, visitors will learn about business success stories and innovative technologies. They will also be able to explore the range of products local manufactures can offer to the market.
This event is a unique one of its type, which will provide small- and medium-sized businesses with opportunities to develop their businesses and expand sales markets. Leading experts from business support agencies and international organizations are to provide useful information on programs, services and resources available for entrepreneurs in the region. Famous manufacturers will teach visitors how to produce a quality product with their own hands. At East Expo 2017, visitors will also learn about success stories of UNDP grantees who launched and developed their own businesses from scratch. In addition, every visitor will be able to participate in a raffle, with the chance to win valuable prizes from UNDP, its partners and local business.
